Danske Invest Fund Management Ltd seeks to streamline its selection of funds registered in Finland. Involving the following funds, the mergers and amended regulations approved by the Financial Supervisory Authority will enter into force on 21, November 2019.

Danske Invest’s intention is to increase the average size of the funds by decreasing the number of funds that customers have shown less interest in. The aim is to improve efficiency both in administration and in portfolio management.
Unit holders are not required to take any action in connection with these amendments, and the amendments will not give rise to tax consequences for unit holders generally liable to pay tax in Finland.
 
The regulations of the acquiring funds will undergo technical amendments at the merger due to UCITS IV, UCITS V and AIFMD. Besides the amendments resulting from regulatory requirements, the name of Danske Invest North America Equity Fund will be changed in connection with the merger to better reflect the fund’s investment policy. The new name of the fund is Danske Invest USA Equity Factors Fund.
 
The holders of units in the fund are entitled to redeem or switch their units free of charge by submitting your order no later than on Wednesday, 20 November 2019 before the cut-off set out in the funds’ regulations. An exception to the above are the Danske Invest Latin America Fund and the Danske Invest North America Enhanced Index Fund, for which the order must be submitted no later than on Tuesday, 19 November 2019 before the cut-off set out in the funds’ regulations.
 
Danske Invest Fund Management Ltd will inform unit holders about the amended regulations by mail and on its website at www.danskeinvest.fi.
